The school management had invited the students’ union for an “emergency meeting” over the newly proposed school fees.
Late Sunday night, the students’ union released a memo informing its members of the management’s invitation for an emergency meeting to be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow, Monday, September 25, 2023, and presided over by the vice chancellor, Prof. Adebayo Simeon Bamire.
The emergency meeting is “a follow-up” of the last meeting at which the union proposed a 50 percent reduction of the proposed school fees, and the management’s representatives agreed to return to the university’s management with the possibility of an “extensive meeting” before this week runs out.
