On the 4th of September 2023, Omoyeni Faith, a female student from the department of Linguistics and African Language loses her life after battling with an Illness.
Faith, whose cause of death is yet to be known has been admitted into the University College Hospital at Ibadan for the past two weeks.
She is known to be a vibrant and intelligent young lady. She’s gentle and cool headed in class.
“We did a group presentation last semester… She performed really well because we’re in the same group.” As said by one of her coursemates.
“She is one of the adorable daughters in that class. Well mannered, easy going, courteous, godly and brilliant.” A remark by one of her lecturers in the department.
According to her father, Faith will be buried today by 1pm.
“I was crying like someone beat me It got me badly.” said one of her classmates.
The news of her death has left many sad and in shock, including her friends, family, department and the entire university at large.
