Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, on Monday, November 14, 2022 refused to appear before a Federal High Court in Abuja in protest against the Federal Government’s refusal to obey a Court of Appeal judgement that ordered his release from detention.
The refusal was conveyed to Justice Binta Nyako by the Federal Government counsel, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar.
Kanu was said to stood his ground not to show up in court until the October 13th judgement of the Court of Appeal is obeyed by releasing him from custody of the Department of the State Service, DSS, in Abuja.
The court led by Justice Binta Nyako adjourned the matter indefinitely.
