JUST IN: APC Barred Journalists, Commences Behind Closed Doors Screenings For Tinubu, Osinbajo And Others

The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have restricted journalists in the country from capturing the activities going at the screening venue of the party ahead of the incoming presidential election which will take place on June 6 and 7 next month.

The screening is currently taking place at Hilton Transcorp Hotel in Abuja amid tight security in which journalists and media personnel are to watch from sides as the party has commenced screening for the upcoming presidential election aspirants behind closed doors.

The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba and other notable aspirants have been screened at the moment but the activities are going on behind closed doors because journalists are not allowed to participate in the activities.

The list of presidential aspirants to be screened include National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osibanjo; former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi; former Minister of Niger Delta Development, Sen. Godswill Akpabio; former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu; former Imo State Governor, Sen. Rochas Okorocha; and former Ogun State Governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosu.

Other aspirants are Senator Ajayi Borroffice; the only female aspirant, Mrs Uju Ohanenye; Pastor Nicholas Nwagbo; former Speaker of House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; Senate President, Ahmed Lawan; former Minister of Information, Chief Ikeobasi Mokelu; and Mr Tein Jack Rich.
