Unfortunately today, the body of a lady, Oluwabamise Ayanwole , was found dead after declared missing.
The lady was reported missing shortly after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) vehicle.
The 22-years- old lady was found with some body parts missing . It was claimed on Monday by one of Bamise’s relative, that they are awaiting the results of the autopsy.
He lamented that efforts to rescue her, by passers- by proved abortive.
According to him, Bamise’s body was found first in public late on Saturday when a BRT and jump dumped her body and zoomed off.
It was reported that Bamise got missing around 7pm while returning to Otah from Ajah on Saturday, February 26th.
She boarded a BRT bus with number 240257, going to Oshodi.
Bamise worked as a Fashion designer at Chevron Estate, Ajahand spends weekends at Ota, Ogun state, with her sister.
When she noticed that the bus didn’tpick any other Passenger at the bus stops, she became suspicious and Informed her friend.
Using Voice notes, she relayed her ordeal to her friend.
The bus driver said he liked her and asked for her name and other details, according to the recorded voice notes.
She pleaded with her friend to pray for her and in response, her friend told her to alight at the next bus stop.
Bamise showed her friend in a video how dark it was in the bus. She said, “There are three men and a woman in the bus.
The woman is sitting at the back , that’s the bus’s number, In case. Please, pray for me.”
That was the last that was heard from Bamise, said her Mother.
Meanwhile, the BRT driver in whose bus Bamise was missing have been arrested by the police in Lagos State.
It was later confirmed by the Police Spokesperson, Adekunle Ajisebutu, that Bamise Is dead.
He said, “The Lagos State Police command regrets to inform the public that Bamise Ayanwole, the missing lady has been found dead.
Oluwabamise was found dead, lying on the Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community, Lagos.
Her body has been deposited at the morgue, Mainland hospital, Yaba for autopsy.
Her family was contacted and the body was confirmed to be the Missing Oluwabamise Ayanwole.
