At around 2:00am on Thursday morning a trailer crashed into Central Bank of Nigeria in Jos, Plateau state leaving two out of the three people in the vehicle hurt while the third person miraculously escaped having wounds.
According to an eye witness, the trailer was loaded with fertilizer and was heading to the road that leads to CBN when it went out of control at the roundabout before the bank and rammed into the building.
It took over six hours before the driver and the other passengers who were caught under the wreckage were saved and attended to.
Alphonsus Godwin, the Plateau state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps verified the accident to The PUNCH in Jos.
The state commander said that when he got wind if the accident in the morning, he instantly sent his team to the location to saved the victims.
He also stated that he was present and that the accident was a line crash as none of the people in the vehicle died, two of them sustained injuries and has been taken to the hospital while the third person is hale and hearty.
