In an exhilarating semifinal match, ASE earned a place in the OAU FA CUP 4.0 finals by defeating CSC 4-3 in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.

The match took place at the OAU Training Pitch 1 on Friday, showcasing the skill and determination of both teams. However, neither team was able to score during regular time. Ultimately, ASE’s precision and composure in the penalty shootout made all the difference.

ASE player Olaniyi Wisdom, who played a crucial role in the team’s success, shared his thoughts during the penalty shootout: “I just wanted us to win. I was praying for all my teammates not to miss any penalties to give us a better chance. Thank God for our keeper; he saved two penalties, which secured our victory.”
