Her Excellency, the wife of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, in an inspiring speech that she delivered at the Ife Education Summit 2.0 on Wednesday, June 20, 2024, advised students not to hope about their current situation.
She said, “Don’t lose hope, I can feel for you.”
The Ife Education Summit 2.0, held at the ICT Main Conference Hall, Obafemi Awolowo University, with the theme “Education Renaissance: Reimagining Learning Beyond the Boundaries,” delved into various ways the present educational system in the nation can be revolutionised to align with the technological developments today.
The First Lady’s presence and speech reinforced the importance of education in shaping the future of Osun State and beyond and also urged students to learn skills that will add value to them along their course of study in school.
Other keynote speakers at the summit, Professor Lanre Idowu and Professor Adeola Shobola, had earlier set the tone of enlightenment and exploration when they delivered their keynote speeches in relation to the theme and implored educators, students, and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to education beyond conventional boundaries.
