The biggest reality show in Nigeria, BBNaija is set to kick off on the 23rd and 24th of July, 2022.
The seventh edition will be aired on DSTV, channel 198 and GOTV, channel 29 by 7:00pm on both days.
It’s call for commission began on the 15th of May, 2022. BBN, is the biggest reality show in which its contestants becomes celebrity after the show.
This season’s prize money, is said to be ₦100m. It’s really going to he competitive.
In the previous seasons, we saw how tough and competitive it was.
BBNaija which is set to kick off in July, started few years back
The show started its first season in 2006, with Katung Aduwak, a script writer, winning a whopping sum of $100,000.
However, a gap of about 11years was in between the first and second season.
The second season commenced in 2017. And Delta State-born rapper, Efe Ejeba, won the grand prize of N25m.
Season 3 was in 2018. Miracle Igbokwe, a pilot took the crown.
Igbokwe got N25m, alongside a brand new Hyundai Tuscon SUV, home appliances worth N3m. Also, a trip for two to an exotic location, as well as a year’s supply of Pepsi and Aquafina water.
Fourth season in 2019, themed as “pepper Dem” was won by Mercy Eke.
In addition to the prize money, an Innoson SUV said to be worth N25m, a trip to Dubai and other prizes was given to her.
Olamilekan Agbeleahe emerged as the fifth winner for the fifth season of BBNaija in 2020.
Even though, it was during the covid -19 outbreak, the show proceeded. It was a lockdown edition. The Lagos State unit graduate, and winner emerged the winner, despite challenges.
Apart from the money, he got an Innoson Motors SUV worth N30m, a two-bedroom apartment, a trip to Dublin, Ireland.
Last season, in 2021, whitemoney won a huge sum of ₦90m.
